Specialist in Addictions: gambling, sex, alcohol, drugs, money, shopping. Also general counselling undertaken in areas such as depression, anxiety, confidence and self-esteem building, bereavement, sexuality, relationships, psychosexual and family problems.
Counselling does not always have to be about problems - I can also help you with your own Personal Development e.g improving confidence, self-esteem skills, assertiveness skills and goal-setting for the future.
Personal Approach
I work Integratively based on a Psychodynamic foundation. I utilise many other other skills in my work such as Gestalt Concepts, Brief Solution Focused Therapy, Anxiety Management, Psychospiritual skills and Dreamwork. I still continue to go to Continuing Professional Development Days as I believe that life is a journey and we can always learn from others.
