Specialist in Addictions: gambling, sex, alcohol, drugs, money, shopping. Also general counselling undertaken in areas such as depression, anxiety, confidence and self-esteem building, bereavement, sexuality, relationships and family problems.
Counselling does not always have to be about problems - I can also help you with your own Personal Development e.g improving confidence self-esteem skills, assertiveness skills and goal-setting for the future.
Personal Approach
My counselling foundation is in Psychodynamic work although I now practice Integratively. I have learnt many other skills over the last few years and attended short courses in other areas such as Gestalt Concepts, Brief Solution Focused Therapy, Anxiety Management and Dream Workshops. I am currently incorporating many of these skills into an integrative framework.
